PSCS's place in IEEE
PSCS shares IEEE’s purpose of advancing technology for the benefit of humanity. As one of IEEE’s technical societies, the IEEE Product Safety and Compliance Society focuses on product safety, certification, and global compliance, giving engineers a dedicated home within the broader IEEE community.
In the same spirit, PSCS equips members with practical compliance knowledge, helps shape the standards that keep products safe, and catalyzes collaboration across industry, academia, and regulators. Formerly the IEEE Product Safety Engineering Society (PSES), PSCS carries the same mission forward under a name that reflects the full scope of compliance work today.
